Steph Curry was born Wardell Steph Curry II on March 14, 1988 in Ohio, United States. He has a younger brother named Seth Curry who is also a NBA player. He grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina, with his parents, Sonya and Dell Curry, after which the family later moved to Toronto.
Curry is an inspiration to other basketball players as he encourages more three point shots. He started up with Davidson Wildcats and helped them advanced to the Elite Eight in 2008. He was picked by the Warriors as the seventh overall in the 2009 NBA draft. He led the Warriors to their first championship since 1975.
He won the NBA four times, two gold medals at the FIBA World Cup, and a gold medal at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. He has been ranked by ESPN as the most famous international athletes and also included in Time 100 most Influential People in 2016.
